Yeah well, here I am. The prodigal deadgirl has FINALLY returned. I'm
exhausted, can't lie about that. A few days after I got the furniture and
belongings in storage, I went apartment hunting.
That was a major headache in this city. I found one I liked, actually about
a mile from my house AND it is 1/2 mile from daycare! I toured a model on a
Sunday afternoon and gave them the application. The next morning the office
called to see if I could move in on the 1st of August, which was only FIVE
DAYS away! Grrrr! I cringed when I thought that I had JUST put everything in
storage. I had one of those PODS units, a storage buliding and half of a
friend's garage. Talk about a nightmare. I got my keys on the 1st, sent my
kids to my parents' house and the job began. The apartment only let me have
the POD unit here for 10 day, and it could not be parked in a parking place
next to the building.. So here we go, moving boxes and furniture through the
parking lot, around the building and up to the second floor in 95+degree
heat with that lovely Memphis humidity. I think I've lived with boxes
stacked up for so long that this place looks empty without all of that
cardboard furniture LOL. I've finally gotten everything where it should be,
and now I feel great. I came home each day to face the mountain of boxes and
I felt unsettled. It became almost an obsession to get It done before I lost
my mind.

Anyway, the apartments are very nice, less than 3 years old. They are 3
story, and I am on the side that overlooks the pool. My downstairs neighbor
is great. She works with a cousin of mine, so we immediately formed a cool
friendship. It's ironic that she is a divorced mother of two with a deadbeat
ex. We have a lot in common. I only hear my upstairs neighbor around 1 am
when I'm climbing in bed and he's getting in the shower. The guy next door,
well his girlfriend threatened to mace my 13 year old cat, who weighs 25
pounds. He can hardly walk, has bladder stones and he seems to be losing his
sight. So I let him lay on the landing in front of my apartment door once a
day, since I know it's only a matter of time. He's harmless, and I'm
thinking if he was a non-chained rottwelier out for blood then I could see
her point of view. He's a fat, slow old fuzzball. But I maintained, which is
unusual for this hot-headed, quick-tempered deadgirl. I just opened my door
and quietly told Chipper to go inside and I told her she should be VERY
careful before she makes irrational decisions like she had threatened. I
reminded her that our local newstations absoulutely LOVE to run broadcasts
about animal cruelty cases. And once those air, then the animal protection
agencies would be knocking on her door. I really don't think she liked the
idea of being humiliated on television for physically attacking an elderly
cat. Tee hee!! Seeeee, I WAS nice :) I like animal cemeteries too, but I
don't want to be taking my buddy Chippy there anytime soon due to some
insane chick that doesn't like cats. When I went to the office to get my
mailbox key, they told me she had come to the office to complain. Theycalled
her a troublemaker and laughed at her for being a moron :) And besides, I
think she got the point when the administrator of www.darkestweb.com told
the office manager to relay a message that if she touched my cat, he'd
f@#king kill her. Maybe that was more effective than what I had to say LOL!

WAAAY off topic! On to Taph, I'm trying to catch up, which is probably going
to be virtually impossible. I noticed tonight that I have saved 1867 emails
that have news stories that I wanted to post. I might just have to post them
and program them to post occasionally as "from the past" or something.
Posting more than 10 articles a day has always been something I refuse to
do, since the articles don't get a chance to be read on the home page. I
think each article deserves one day since not everyone goes to "archived
articles" to read the current month's postings. Just one of my hangups! I am
now sitting here waiting for the 1900 emails I have received since Wednesday
to download. I am dreading this, but am looking forward to relaxing, reading
and catching up with my friends. I am also on dialup until December when DSL
is available at my apartments. Until then, I have a lovely neighbor with an
unsecure wireless access point. Shhhhh! I love you Jeremy, whoever you are!
You need to leave your computer on more often!!! HA

Well, I just wanted to say hello to you all, and if you have an email
waiting on my response, give me some time. If you don't hear from me soon,
could be that it was sent to spam. All I can say is resend! Right now I have
3267 emails in my spam folder, ughhhh! But I have been approved for my home
loan I didn't apply for, I can get some cheap canadian medicine, and I have
hot chicks waiting to talk to me.
I'd love to respond to the person who just made me an ordained minister so I
can find out if I can legally perform reverse exorcisms!!! That would be
great!

For those of you who have my phone numbers, my cell phone is the same, but
my home number changed. You can email me individually for the correct
number. And Ms. Deadgirl, I expect to hear my phone ringing soon for an
update when you have time between jobs. I am getting a bit worried that I
haven't heard from you. IRON COFFINS, let's get busy soon!

P.S. Check out my photoshop ad in Minda's Epitaphs magazine. Havent seen
it, and I hope it turned out great. From the looks of my bills, that will
prolly be the only issue in which I can afford to advertise!

P.P.S. Oh and by the way, looks like my October 27th weekend trip to New
Orleans has been majorly postponed. I'm thinking St. Louis...anyone have a
suggestion? I'd like to stay within an 8 hour drive from here so I don't
spend the entire time in the car. I got a Sony camera
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0108/01082106sonydscf707.asp from my pal at
Darkestweb when he upgraded. I can't WAIT to practice with all of the lenses
and manual controls!!! I'm a Kodak EasyShare LS743 point-and-shoot cemetery
girl!!!! Thiswill be AWESOME!
