Hi all,

I'am using the jquery/autocomplete mixin from the release 3.4.1 of tapestry5-jquery in my application.
The mixin seems to work fine until the suggestion list is displayed. The list with suggestions is displayed after typing in the respective textfield. But if I try to select any entry from the suggestion list, the small panel containing this list just disappears. It disappears right in this moment, when the mouse pointer touches it.
So mybe there is an error in the autocomplete.js or jquery.ui.autocomplete?

Thanks for your answers.

Regards
Eric

Hi Eric,

We need more information about your issue .

Which version of Tapestry 5-jQuery do you use ? Are you developing a full jQuery application ? or are you mixing the old Prototype JS framework with jQuery ?

Do you have any JS errors on your browser console ?

Manu

Hi Emmanuel,

I use the latest version available from git hub and meanwhile I detected the reason for the musbehavior. Some releases ago (I think since 3.4.0) the "jquery.ui.menu.js" was added to the Autocomplete mixin.
I removed it form the component and rebuilt the tapestry5-jquery lib and from this point all works normal again.

Strange. Can you create an issue on the github repo?
