Dear Seniors....

Once again a warm Greetings from your beloved juniors !!!!

At last We stepped into the most crucial stage in our College Life "The Final Year".

We already started to prepare ourselves for the Placements and we expect companies will be visiting us by the middle of August.

We have formed a new, highly motivated, team spirited team for The Association of Production Engineers (2015-16) and the entire details will be conveyed along with the plans for this year activities in the next month.

We are discussing the ways for forming a group in WhatsApp for every batch so that you will be more informed.

We are expecting your words of suggestions from you on creating a Whatsapp group.

The newsletter for this month have been attached with this mail.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the updates.

It is heartening to note that MIT campus is leading in placements.

Can't help but remember our struggle to get information on companies coming for placement from Anna University's Central Placement Cell (till the late 80's, MIT was practically ignored by AU's Placement Cell).

With active support from Director & Placement Officers, we (Placement Reps. from previous batches & our batch) worked to get MIT included and met with some success (in 1990, my own successful campus placements happened @ CEG campus, where we all went to attend interviews !).

From those days to now leading the pack in recent years, MIT has come a long way. Wonderful to hear that news !.

It is also interesting to see the development of the ATEV (All Terrain Electric Vehicle).  Suggest the team gets in touch with Ampere Vehicles, Coimbatore who are into EV's like scooters and special purpose EV's. There could be some synergies and mutually beneficial opportunities.

Congrats to those who are placed already and all the best for this year's placement and further success at e-BAJA event !.

Best Regards,

Greetings to all!

Well done! Best wishes for the ATEV team!

Hope the TAPE members from new team continues the practice of sending updates.
During my MIT journey I learnt a hard truth.
Many new things will come up on the way but it survives until the initiator survives at MIT.... (Sometimes they are dropped in the middle for acceptable reasons)
To name a few: Asymptote, IAS training program at MIT campus, Tamil club !

My sincere request is to sustain any good activities that are initiated and not only this newsletter...!
Let us pass on the heritage with firm commitment.

Regards,
Parthiban Ravikumar
