First meeting

Hi all,

Thanks for signing up!
Now let's get together and continue the Open Data plan that we began at the TAP Summit.

I set up a Doodle poll with some possible dates & times for our first meeting:

Please indicate all timeslots you'd be available, and we'll choose the one with majority buy-in.

Here's a rough agenda outline for the meeting:

1. Define mission and goals of this enterprise.
2. Vision our ideal outcomes.
3. Revisit list of short- and mid-term initiatives/projects and brainstorm other prospects.
   
4. Assemble a list of others that should be at the table.
5. Craft our message and plan outreach.
   
6. Prioritize next steps and choose responsibilities.

I'm grateful for your feedback on the agenda.

Again, please fill out the doodle poll as soon as you're able so we can get this meeting on the calendar and find a location. My plan is to secure a space in a Cleveland-based cafe/library conference room unless someone has a suitable and central alternative.

Feel free to post any questions or ideas back to the list.

We'll be discussing both the formation of an Open Data advisory committee to the County and creation of a regional open data catalog.
