Will Tap module work on Drupal 8?

Trying to install tap-cms-master.zip on Drupal v8, but getting an error about missing .info.yml files. I know that Drupal switch from .info files for module to YAML for v8, so I tried converting the .info files to .yml but am still having problem. Does anyone know if the module will work on Drupal 8?

We have not updated the TAP modules for Drupal 8. We will have to do some research into what changes are necessary to make this change possible. If you can provide any updates on this mater we would gladly adopt them into the code-base.
