In the Config.js file, if you set the following parameter you should get metric units on the map:

var TapConfig = {

    geo: {

        units: 'metric'

    }

};

Hope that works for you.

is there any way to set distances in meters instead of miles in map view?

Ok, looks like I told you the wrong thing. Instead of ‘metric’ use ‘si’ in your config. I think that will work.

I changed my config.js file, but unfortunately distances shown on the map remains in miles
