Christophe,

We currently do not have that functionality built into the TAP apps.
However we have some estimates in our office and have spent a small amount
of time tinkering with them. I am hoping that we have time to investigate
this further in the near future.

Yes, we did do some work around beacons and the code is on Github in the feature-tap-beacons branches.
