JOB VACANCY: SHOP & GARAGE MANAGER - DODOMA

We are looking for a competent and experienced Shop & Garage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shop and automotive garage.

Location: [Dodoma]

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the shop and garage

• Supervise mechanics and shop staff to ensure efficient service delivery

• Ensure proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of vehicles

• Manage inventory, tools, and spare parts

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the workplace

• Handle customer inquiries and ensure high customer satisfaction

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports

• Monitor business performance and suggest improvements

• Report to Top Management Team on daily work plans and employee attendance

• Follow up on credit customers and ensure all debts are paid on time

• Attend to any other responsibilities assigned by Top Management

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic (highly preferred)

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role

• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance

• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and report writing)

• Good communication and customer service skills

• High level of integrity, responsibility, and problem-solving ability

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is an added advantage
