The JR Institute of Information Technology invites applications from suitably qualified, dynamic, and motivated Tanzanians to fill the position of Tutorial Assistant in Wildlife Tourism.

Position Title

Tutorial Assistant – Wildlife Tourism

Duty Station – JR Institute of Information Technology

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

Assist in conducting tutorials and practical sessions in Wildlife Tourism and related subjects.

Support lecturers in preparing teaching and learning materials.

Assist in research and consultancy activities.

Conduct field practical training and educational tours.

Participate in students’ academic guidance 

Assist in examination invigilation, marking, and record keeping.

Perform any other duties assigned by senior academic staff.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess:

A Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Tourism or Wildlife Management from a recognized higher learning institution.

A minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5.0 or equivalent at undergraduate level, in line with common recruitment standards for Tutorial Assistants 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Computer literacy and ability to use digital teaching technologies.

Experience in fieldwork related to wildlife tourism will be an added advantage.

Remuneration

Attractive remuneration package will be offered in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale and terms of service.
