1. CAMPS MANAGER
Description
• Supervise all departments, including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Maintenance.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest tents and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Manage stocks and inventories, ensuring timely procurement of supplies while minimizing waste and breakage.
• Manage the camp’s operational budget, ensuring costs remain within projected targets.
• Oversee the camp’s petty cash and weekly financial reporting.
• Optimize revenue through upselling and efficient resource management.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of lodge staff, fostering a culture of excellence and mutual respect.
• Conduct regular staff briefings and training sessions to maintain service consistency.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, labour laws, and health and safety regulations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of camp facilities, including cabins, common areas, kitchens, and outdoor areas, to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of active professional guiding experience in high-end safari environments is mandatory.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and food & beverage management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff.

2. OPERATIONAL MANAGER
Description
• Supervise daily activities across all departments, including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Maintenance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse workforce, ensuring high morale and productivity.
• Monitor departmental budgets, manage stock control, and optimize operational costs without compromising quality.
• Ensure all properties operate in accordance with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Act as a primary point of contact for guest feedback, resolving any issues and ensuring a personalized experience for every visitor.
• Provide regular operational reports and strategic updates to top management.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5–7 years in hospitality management, with at least 3 years in a senior operational role specifically within luxury safari lodges or tented camps.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic financial reporting.
• Fluent in English and Swahili (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving abilities, cultural sensitivity, and the physical stamina required for lodge life.
