Are you enthusiastic about cooking delicious meals and eager to work in the
stunning surroundings of Paje, Zanzibar? We're in search of experienced and
proactive chefs to join our friendly team at our brand-new hostel.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare weekly stocklists for catering
needs including staff meals, restaurant, and breakfast.
Ensure weekly stocklists are fulfilled, maintaining adequate supplies of
food and kitchen cleaning products.
Contribute ideas for simple yet tasty menu options.
Prepare and serve breakfast daily, ensuring quality and presentation meet
our standards.
Assist with restaurant preparation and full-service operations.
Organize and serve staff meals daily, catering to dietary requirements and
preferences.
Ensure necessary prep work is completed for catering on scheduled days off.
Work closely with housekeeping team members to assist in the kitchen and
fulfill duties on scheduled days off.



Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef or cook, with a strong understanding of kitchen
operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced
environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
