Your poster number is important to remember as this will be where you hang your poster within the hall and determines when you will be presenting. Your poster number is different from the control number you received when submitting your abstract.
If you cannot remember your poster number, please use the poster number database:
You may display your information in figures, tables, text, photographs, etc. Please prepare all illustrations neatly and legibly beforehand, in a size sufficient to read at a distance of three (3) feet. A series of typewritten sheets attached to the poster board is not acceptable. Push pins (thumbtacks) will be available to fasten your material to the poster board.
All accepted abstracts will receive an abstract number, which will be provide in the abstract notification. This abstract number will be used in the JITC publication and will also be the abstract poster number. The abstract numbers are determined by:
Each Regular, Young Investigator Award, Regular Abstract - Part 2, and Late-breaking Abstract presenting author will be assigned to present their poster in the Poster Hall (Exhibit Hall B) either Nov. 3, 2023, or Nov. 4, 2023.
Providing your poster as an ePoster is required. ePosters will be available during the 38th Annual Meeting for meeting participants to view and download on the virtual meeting platform, beginning Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. ePosters are available for meeting participants only and will be available on the virtual meeting platform for the duration the platform is available, Nov. 3, 2023 at 9 a.m. PDT/12 p.m. EDT through Jan. 12, 2024. Please note, everyone with an accepted abstract is required to submit an ePoster. Those who attend SITC 2023 in-person are asked to bring their physical poster to be put up in the in person Poster Hall. SITC will not print ePosters for authors.
Masks should be worn at all times when inside the conference center. That includes during your poster presentation. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the meeting space. For more information on health and safety policies at the meeting, please check our Conference Policies. Since poster presenters will be masked, poster authors are encouraged to include their photo on their poster.
Update February 15, 2023. Posters for the in-person session should be no larger than 48 inches wide by 44 inches tall. To allow for maximum spacing between each poster, each poster should be placed in the middle of the board. Posters will can be displayed beginning at 8:00 am on the day you present and must come down at the end of the day. Posters using more space than allotted will be removed. The GSA staff, facility staff, and personnel breaking down the boards will not be responsible for posters left up by their authors. Please remove your poster promptly after your session concludes. Posters that are not removed in a timely fashion will be recycled.
As shown in the list above, authors have been assigned specific time slots during which they are expected to be at their poster for discussion. If a presenter is unable to attend their poster at the designated time, GSA asks that they find an alternate person to present in their absence. GSA will also place a sign on your poster board that will include your poster number along with two other poster numbers (the other two posters listed will use the same board space in different time slots). Please do NOT move the sign indicating poster numbers and times on the board. If the number is moved or removed, we will not be able to consider your poster for the poster award competition.
When you upload your poster PDF, you will have the option to record a 2-minute audio overview that attendees can listen to while they view your poster on the app. Because the file is limited to two minutes in length, we recommend you practice your timing before you start recording. You must use the web browser Google Chrome for uploading your poster and recording audio.
If my abstract is accepted, what is the presentation format?
Authors who are selected as the presenter of an abstract (at the time of submission) will be provided with instructions regarding the type of presentation to be made and the date and time of the presentation. For abstracts selected to be presented as posters, the AACR will provide poster numbers and pushpins. For abstracts that are selected for short talks, slides must in 16:9 format and developed in PowerPoint or Keynote.
Abstracts scheduled for presentation during in-person poster sessions will be listed in the program. Recordings of poster presentations will be available throughout the meeting. During the in-person portion of the meeting, we have dedicated a 2-hour block each morning for poster presentations only. The open posters will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In-person oral sessions will not begin until after the poster sessions are finished each day.
The poster board surface area 48 inches (121.9 cm) high and 96 inches (243.8 cm) wide. Your poster does not need to fill the entire area available but cannot be larger than the surface area provided.
The top of the poster space should include the abstract number, title, authors, and affiliations. The lettering for this section should be at least 1 inch high. Presenters must furnish their own tacks or push pins (Velcro may not be used).
Please look for the poster number (same as the abstract number) as noted in the program book, to locate a poster board. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday poster numbers will be preceded by an M, T, and W, respectively.
Download the free PosterCast app to stream audio explanations of posters as you view them. While you are in the poster hall, simply scan the QR code on a participating poster or use the keypad to enter the poster number. This resource is particularly valuable when posters are unattended by presenters.
CVPR 2023 offers a poster printing service for attendees who like to collect their printed poster onsite at the Vancouver convention center. The poster printing service can be used both for papers that appear at the main conference as well as for workshop papers.
When printing a poster for a paper in the main conference, please visit the following spreadsheet to retrieve your "Presentation Date", "Poster Number" and "Tag" which you will be required to enter while purchasing your poster. It is important that this information is correct such that all posters can be sorted and quickly found when picking them up on site.
Poster Abstract Sessions comprise the majority of scientific information presented at CROI. Presenters of poster abstracts will be assigned to stand at their respective boards, organized by topic, on 1 of the 3 conference days. All posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference in the poster hall and in an electronic format in the conference mobile app (access is restricted to registered CROI attendees only).
Poster presenting authors illustrate their study findings by displaying graphs, figures, diagrams, and text that describe their main background, methods, findings, results, and conclusions on posters presented during assigned sessions at CROI.
Poster presenters are strongly encouraged to use the CROI poster template, which can be accessed in a PowerPoint template here: CROI Poster Template (Download). This poster format draws attendees to a poster and allows them to easily identify the main findings, according to our attendee feedback. The notes contain poster guidelines that include formatting notes (eg, font size, use of color, poster print size) and poster content requirements (eg, the addition of the assigned poster number and the policy against the use of QR codes).
Poster Title: The poster title should be the same as the title submitted with the abstract and appear in boldface at the top in standard American Medical Association (AMA) title case. Nouns, pronouns, verbs, and other important words begin with uppercase letters; coordinating conjunctions, articles, and prepositions of 3 letters or fewer should all be in lowercase unless they are the first or last words in a title or subtitle.
QR Codes and Links to External Materials Are Not Allowed: QR codes, bar codes, or other links to external resources are not permitted on posters displayed at CROI or on electronic versions of the posters to be uploaded to the CROI website.
The suggested size for posters is either 54 inches (width) x 36 inches (height) or 60 inches x 40 inches (137.2 cm x 91.4 cm or 152.4 cm x 101.6 cm) based on the CROI Poster Template. The minimum size for a poster is 36 inches (width) x 24 inches (height) so attendees can see the poster at least 10 feet away. The size of the board for displaying the poster is 96 inches (width) x 48 inches (height), and the maximum size of a poster is 93 inches (width) x 45 inches (height).
Regular abstract submission was possible until February 6, 2023. Late Poster submission until June 20, 2023.
Abstract submission is linked to registration. The submission of an abstract or late poster was therefore only possible if the participant has registered for the congress in advance.
All main authors or regular abstract submissions have been informed about the acceptance of their poster on March 16, 2023.
If you did not get any email notification please contact the Meeting Secretariat via email in...@glia2023.eu or by phone at +49 351 65573-131.

All accepted abstracts (except for late poster submissions) have been published in the Wiley E-Only Supplement to Glia Journal. You can download the abstract booklet HERE.
