Ive done the in app tutorials before and found them very useful. So after sometime, I've went to load them up again for a refresher in Premiere Pro, and the workspace and project loads up, which you can play around with, but there is no accompanying tutorial that guides you through. Am I missing something? As I've done it before, is this a one-time use sort of operation?>

But what if the panel opens for a second after you go Window -> Learn and then shuts straight away? Apparently it's some sort of a glitch with me as I even reinstalled Premiere and it didn't make any difference...

Same issue. None of the in-app learning tutorials are working. Sometimes it opens up a blank project, now it says "Tutorials couldn't be retrieved." I assure you my internet connection is working because I am able to post into the void on this forum.

Sorry about this. Have you tried reinstalling Premiere Pro? If that does not work, please take a screenshot of the warning and I'll pass it along to the developers. Let us know your machine specs and version of Premiere Pro, as well.

I am sorry about this. I have a feeling that your installation has something wrong with it. Can you try reinstalling Premiere Pro? Make sure permissions are set for all hard drives in your Security Preferences. That may help. Let us know if this works.

ok, I just spent about 2 hours in remote support with Adobe. delete your version of premiere. Look for something called Adobe cleaner. Run that if you can but protect your work. Then re-install adobe premiere version 22.0. Apparently the newer versions are not stable, and there wont be a fix until end of year, so revert back to 22.0. worked for me, but took alot to get there.

Sorry for that. Something is up with your installation. Are you on an educational version? I noticed you didn't have a username, but on that profile, I saw you had an email address related to an institution. Perhaps your IT person did not install the package contents correctly, or the package is faulty. Could that be the case?

After spending nearly 4 hours with adobe customer support, none of the support agents was able to help. They all suggested something that never worked. Hope someone else could help. So I couldn't play any of the in-app tutorial videos on my Windows 11 laptop. I have GE force Nvidia graphic card however it was updated and yet nothing significant. I still can't get those tutorial videos to play. Any suggestions/ possible solutions for this?

I used them before and they were super helpful. Now when I try to open them it says "This Hands-on tutorial in not available at this moment". I have tried relaunching, restarting my MacBook Pro, I undated my operating system...still nothing. Please help.

yes i've done that, I'm on a course studying for the Animate 2021 exam, so have both the latest version and the long term supported 22.0.8 installed now. I've tried it with just one or the other installed too.

There are 13 of us on the course, 5 of the other students have access to the full set of tutorials, the rest of us have only had the initial 6 since we started 2 weeks ago. There doesm't seem to be any difference with the installation for those who have access to them all, we are all based in Ireland, it's confounding!

It seems like you have confirmed that your data is streaming into the correct Platform sandbox and your schema and dataset are enabled for Profile. The customer id is being set correctly in the identity map, but for some reason profiles are not being created in profile.

I'm not sure what that the error "Updates are not supported for events" means. My best guess is that it might think you are sending events with the same event "_id" field twice, but I don't understand how that would happen. You just followed the directions of the tutorial and are you just browsing the site normally, right? From your screenshot, it looks like this might be related to the data landing in the profile.

Just to clarify some communication you are having with @manl , the tutorial uses a schema on the XDM ExperienceEvent class, which is enabled for Profile. There is another class called XDM Individual Profile, but this is NOT used in the tutorial.

Here are some other things you can check:

1. Are the ids populating the identity graph? Since you have two ids (ECID and lumaCrmId2) a graph should be formed which is visible in the interface: -learn/tutorials/identities/view-identity-graphs.htm...

3. You could follow the steps in this Platform tutorial to create the schema for loyalty data and ingest the sample data to see if you are able to see profiles created: -learn/getting-started-for-data-architects-and-data-...

Experience Platform Web SDK is a client-side JavaScript library that allows customers of Adobe Experience Cloud to interact with both Adobe applications and third-party services through the Adobe Experience Platform Edge Network. See Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK Overview for more detailed information.

This tutorial guides you through the implementation of the Platform Web SDK on a sample retail website called Luma. The Luma site has a rich data layer and functionality that lets you build a realistic implementation. For this tutorial, you:

In these lessons, it is assumed that you have an Adobe account and the required permissions to complete the lessons. If not, you must reach out to an Experience Cloud Administrator at your company to obtain access.

Load the Luma website in a separate browser tab and bookmark it so you can easily load it whenever needed during the tutorial. You do not require any additional access to Luma other than being able to load our hosted, production site.

I'm sure I'm missing something very simple here but when I try and load in a new Animate tutorial from the dashboard (longtime Adobe user, first-time Animate!) I have no files coming up in assets in default or in custom. The cloud icon is greyed out at the bottom as well.

So this one it loads up (as it did with the others) but where there is no interaction with the assets window there isn't an issue. When I tried the others it opens the file but when I go to drag something in from assets nothing is there.

i don't know why you're not downloading those assets, but your computer needs to be internet connected and you probably need to be signed into adobe.com. if it is connected and you're signed in, you could try resetting your preferences and seeing if that makes a difference, -preferences.html

While I can drag and drop the farmer character to the stage, there's an entire category missing. The tutorial says to go to Assets > Default > Animated > Rigs > Walk - but there's no "Rigs" section. Something is broken for sure.

The Home screen will change dynamically as you open more projects and they get listed in "Recent" projects. I have nine projects in my recently opened list and that tutorial banner is no longer there. If I were to delete/clear the list, the tutorial would come back. It basically uses how many recent projects you have as a proxy for how "experienced" you are with the program.

If Adobe people swing by and are open to extra feedback, I would also appreciate turning this tutorial banner off completely instead of it possibly coming back and pushing the recent projects list up and down the Home screen.

This is the most stupid and useless thing and how Adobe implemented this First tutorial in that home page are absolutelly stupid... If that tutorial were as demo video tutorial at first lounch and then go away, then i will understand. But this is a useless project file.

"most"? How about automatically installing 1Gig worth of unwanted Cinema 4D and repeatedly updating it, chewing up SSD hard drive space whenever After Effects is installed. (I uninstalled it, because of that). Also, how about all the upper-right corner 'nag' windows that Acrobat pops up? "Open recent files?" NO. "Try our AI tools". I've got tremendous respect for Adobe's innovation, but some of their incontrovertible feature decisons leave me flabbergasted.

I am running AE on a Mac Mini w M2 Silicon. The tutorials in the Learn panel were visible and appeared to be downloading, but I could not start them. When I returned to the Home panel, the option was there to start the tutorials. The first try to launch a tutorial, AE crashed. I reopened in Safe Mode, and the tutorials are now running.

I just updated my Photoshop and was pleasantly surprised to learn about the new Generative AI functionality through the hands-on tutorials that were played within Photoshop, see screenshot on what I am talking about:

Haha, that certainly is an option but would leave that as a last resort. I really thought the videos were nicely done and kept me right in Photoshop. It is a great option than looking up other videos on the web to learn these new features. Thanks though!
