Outfits for the Wedding

Hey Girls,

I apologize if we already discussed this, but are most people wearing saris for the wedding ceremony?

Also, are you girls planning to change for the reception or stay in the same clothes? I'm staying at Hampton Suites, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to go back and change / if I should bring something to change into.

I think I'm going to change in between, but Tanisha said that it didn't really matter whether you did or not. I will be wearing a sari to the wedding itself and then changing into a salwaar for the reception so I'll be more comfortable to dance and all. :)

Yeah, I would recommend sari for the ceremony for everyone (I think that's what everyone is doing minus Aneeqa maybe?). Ani, if you want, you can bring something to change into and keep it at our condo so that you don't have to go back and forth in between :) But like Suvs said, you don't have to change in between if you don't feel like. Up to you! You will have a couple hours between the ceremony and cocktail hour where you're free to do whatever you want.

Also, for those of you staying with boyfriends/not at the venue, consider crashing at our condo for Friday evening. Just a thought, because Saturday morning will be hectic and many of you have early morning hair appointments. The photographer will need you all ready around 10:30am, so it might be easier to already be there with all your stuff if you're worried about reaching on time in the morning. Just a thought!

I hope the bachelorette party was fun!! The pics looked awesome - I'm very jealous. :(

I will be doing a sari (green as Tanisha requested) for the wedding ceremony, and a different sari for the reception.

I am wearing a Sari to the wedding and reception. I only got a few outfits so probably won't be changing in between, I don't think. It is green though! :-)

I have a green sari but I also found a green anarkali that fits so I might just go with that since it'll be more comfortable and easer to maneuver in it. I'll have a big baby bump at the end of august!!!
