hey girls -

so who is getting in thurs night for tani's wedding? i am! here is what she said about transportation:

Good news. I called the Albany airport and their taxis are actually vans which hold up to 6 people. He said it is $132 to Sagamore but there is no extra charge for people. So hypothetically if even 4 of you shared the cab, it's about $30/person which is not bad. If it is 5 or 6 then it is cheaper. You can talk to the dispatcher at 518-242-4222 if you want to talk directly. You do not need to book ahead of time.

There is also a bus which goes from the airport to Lake George which is $13.50/person. The bus does not take you to the resort but it takes you to the Lake George area, so you could also take the bus and then cab it the rest of the way. You would need to look at its timings.

You can call the Albany Airport at 518-242-2200 and talk to the ground transportation people. Hope that helps!
