Yikes! Is this the last day of November already? We've been so busy preparing for our December shows that we nearly forgot to tell you about them. We were not expecting to be spending a second Winter off the road, but this is how things are. So…

WINTER’S RETURN returns‼️ — 2021

COVID be damned! Live touring, while possible, remains problematic in pandemic times, so once again Winter’s Return returns to the virtual world with a celebration of all things seasonal. As we approach the end of 2021, we bring you music across the ages from around the world, played on a vast array of exotic instruments. Hurdy gurdies and harps rub shoulders with citterns and bouzoukis, hammered dulcimers and even the odd guitar or two.

This time we’re producing two different shows. The first is THIS SATURDAY: a special, real-time show, mixing live and virtual performances, presented online by Three Rivers Folklife Society. This fun packed show promises to enthrall and entertain, with the added spice of a potential technological disaster as we navigate the wonders of online broadcasting together. Since the band members will be in two studios 1500 miles apart, the audience will be treated to duets from the two halves of the band alongside “virtual” performances by the full quartet. Quite literally anything can happen, and probably will. Don’t miss it.

The second concert will follow in the format of our amazingly successful virtual performance in 2020: an entirely pre-recorded quartet show, which will premier on YouTube on December 19, just before the Winter Solstice.
