No dancing around the Maypole for us...Embark on the beginning of June
with a long weekend and begin with Tango This evening...

Festival Tango Flashmob

Are you interested to take part in a tango flashmob in Wellington on
the Thursday evening of the festival (20 June)?

The idea is that this will be a flashmob happening in a busy spot
about 6pm (so it will be OK for those finishing an immersion course
and before the evening’s milonga). Music will strike up, out of
nowhere apparently ordinary people will ‘spontaneously’ pair up and
start dancing tango, one tango will be danced, and then – just as
suddenly – the dancers will melt away about their lives and all that
will be left is a beautiful memory (and maybe a video for You Tube
like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvNl1tsnTnE )
