Tango Atelier has a Milonga at the Wellington Irish Club.
Friday evening at 8.30pm.
Prior to the Milonga is a FREE BEGINNERS TANGO LESSON commencing at
7.45pm so send along any interested friends who perhaps want to have
an introduction to tango and of course they would be most welcome to
stay on for the Milonga to see what it is all about and watch some of
our Wellington talent !!!

Milonga is $10 with snacks, and tea/coffee/ juice included and wine
glasses available for byo.

Hi everyone,

As you know the tango festival is almost here and this year we have
arranged for a smorgasbord of free events. The aim of the events is to
let (a lot) more people know about tango and have their first taste of
it. We hope to give the growth of the tango community in Wellington a
big boost. We are asking all tango dancers in Wellington to look to
their circle of friends and business and let people know what a
wonderful festival we have in this city and invite them to take part.
There are free classes, free conversational Spanish classes, free
performances, free milongas and Street Milongas.

I have a confirmation for two locations. The street Milongas will take
place on
Saturday 15 June at 12.00 hrs at Moore Wilsons, Tory Street, in the
covered area where the statues are. Request is that you will not use
Moore Wilsons parking facilities because they are reserved for people
who shop there.
Sunday 16 June at 12.00 hrs Reading Cinema Food Court at Courtney
Place. Near the entrance between Starbucks and the bookshop.
I am inviting all tangueros in Wellington to come and take part, to
dance to hand out flyers... to talk to passers by if they have
questions about what they see. Lets see if we can get this town
dancing Tango!
