Monday Queer Tango

I hope you can come join us next Monday 17th December, for our last
Monday Tango this year…

We have decided to have a nice long practica (so no class), with
drinks and nibbles provided to thank you for sharing tango with us
this year.

To get in the festive spirit entry to this practica is by koha (gold
coin or food), with all proceeds and food collected going to the food
bank.

Location is the usual - Crossways Community Centre at Level 1/6
Roxburgh Street, Mount Victoria.

There will be no Monday tango for the following three weeks (24th &
31st Dec, plus 7th Jan) but we'll be back with an extended practica on
the 14th January (no class - just a lovely long practica running from
7 to 9:30pm). Then there’ll be a break the next week for Wellington
Anniversary, and back with our usual class + practica on the 28th
January.

For those of you that are sticking around Wellington throughout the
festive season, Nina's Sunday milongas will continue. These are also
held at Crossways, from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Entry is $10, tea & coffee

Christmas is almost upon us and time to allocate the dates of
Christmas festivities.
Join us for a Christmas Milonga on Tuesday 18th December, from 8pm
-11pm at Thistle Hall, 293 Cuba St, Wellington.

In the spirit of Christmas and appreciation of the Tango Communities
support of Tango Atelier's Workshops throughout the past year, there
will be no cover charge to the Christmas Milonga on Tuesday 18th
December, from 8pm -11pm at Thistle Hall, 293 Cuba St, Wellington.

I would ask that everyone please bring a plate of Festive Cheer to
share and BYO drinks. Tea and Coffee will be provided.

Over Christmas:

The Saturday Practica
This will continue uninterupted right through the holiday season! From
15th Dec to the end of Jan, DJ Pedro will be your host.

Tararua events
The usual will run until Christmas ie - Tararua Friday Practica is on
Friday 21st - Tararua Sunday Practica on Sun 23rd.
Geoff will be running an extra Tararua Friday Practica on Friday
28th.
The Tararua calendar goes back to normal from then ie Sunday 29th
practica will continue as usual and the first Tararua Friday Practica
of the new year will be on 4th January as part of the normal
fortnightly cycle.
