Full Moon Tango Tonight (26th)
Massey Memorial (out past Shelly Bay)
From 7.30 after practica.
The moon is full, the weather perfect - its time for the return of
this old favourite. Out past Shelly Bay on the round the bays road.
Carpark on road and short path up to the spectacular headland. bring
candles, a torch and any food or drink you want. txt or phone Gordon

Next month, during art deco weekend in Napier, the tango will have a
very important place.
4xTango will play on the waterfront on 16th of February.
That event will be a milonga under the stars.
After us the NZ Navy jazz band will play for a swing ball.
Friday February 15.
War Memorial Centre, Marine Parade Napier. This is the Opening Soiree
where all sponsors, local politicians etc gather toformally launch the
Weekend. Approx 400 guests.
Saturday Feb 16
Sound Shell Marine Parade Napier. Gatsby Picnic - free public event
Provide concert/Dance display 7- 8.15pm.
Please note the slightly earlier finish time as we have the NZ Navy
band packing in to start at 9pm.
Dancers will have space to dance on the elevated stage or on the
concrete/grass at the foot of the stage
We are also playing in one or two more events/milongas but this is not
100% confirmed

It is only 51 days away!
To all the lovely out-of-towners I do hope you can make it and that
you will spread the word around your fellow dancers and students. I
am very excited to be hosting it again this year - the 3rd year in a
row!
I also have some locals who can offer you a bed, but yes, beds are
limited. If you think you may want to stay with someone best get into
action now, register and send me an email with your details.
Nelson is a great place to spend some time dancing, shopping, eating,
sipping wine, visiting local artisans and generally relaxing. Whatever
takes your fancy. If you book flights/plan now the cost should be
reasonable.
