Summer Salsadrome & Tango Milonga

Summer Salsadrome is held on level two at Whitireia Performance centre
25 Vivian St. Wellington
Brief informal beginners intro lessons 8-9pm (in two styles of dance -
varying each time; Argentine Tango, Merengue, Salsa, Salsa Rueda, Zouk-
lambada, Bachata)
9-12 Tango practise session & social dancing (only $5 for tango only)
in studio three, level two.
Just for $5 tango only, or $10 salsadrome.

Thanks to everybody that came to dance with us last Wednesday. Thanks
to those who helped to pack up and who got wet with us lugging the
gear back to the car, to those who brought food and drinks to share -

We have hired the Old Bandoliers building again for dancing next
Wednesday. It is in Mt Victoria - access: turn right at very top of
Marjoribanks Street, and at the end of the street go DOWN (not up) to
the end of the driveway. From there you will see a white building that
you can get to by walking on the gravel through the community garden
or along the edge of the garden on a concrete path. (See map)
BANDOLIER HOUSE - a rudimentary but good space for dancing in Town
Belt with "garden" setting (note quotes). The floor is GREAT and it is
a nice venue for summer, as it quite well connected to the outside.
Last time we said that we would not provide anything but we actually
did. We will provide the music this time and the same wonderful sound
and lighting thanks to Mike's special gear -two trips to the venue
worth of it!
I will cook something but maybe I should not spend half a day in the
kitchen this time and save my energy for dancing. If you could bring
something to share again, it will help us all to sustain our energy
levels through all those hours of dancing, but of course there is no
obligation.
We will be starting with a PRACTICA and then SOCIAL DANCING as the
evening progresses.
