La Bohemia Tango Marathon 17 – 19 June 2022
There are still places available for this 3-day marathon in Bangalow & Byron. Couples & leaders please book now. Followers will go on a wait list for now until more single leaders register.
La Bohemia is organised by the Byron Bay Tango Dancers and will donate all proceeds to The Lismore Flood Appeal. We are open for registrations now.

Moonlight Tango Winter Festival 12 – 14 August 2022
We understand that balanced milongas are more enjoyable for everyone, which is why we are staggering the opening of ticket sales. Tickets for single leaders and single followers will be released in coming weeks. But if you don’t want to wait, we encourage you to partner up and get your couples ticket now (50% have already been sold).
As a special limited time promotion we are offering an “All IN” pass for $399. This will be available from 10 am on May 26th to May 30th. It will give you access to ALL Milongas and ALL Lessons, including:
- 3 elegant milongas at City Hall, featuring a performance by the Brisbane Tango Orchestra, music to keep us dancing by DJ Jose (Melbourne) and DJ Anthony (Sydney) and performances to inspire us by Rina and Nadim Sawaya (Tango Esencia, Melbourne) and Jose and May (Brisbane);
- an after-party milonga at Evita restaurant with DJ Wendy and live music cortinas by Eddie Gazani & Co;
- lessons to expand our tango horizons with Rina and Nadim Sawaya (Tango Esencia, Melbourne) and Jose and May (Brisbane); and
