The Brisbane Jazz Club is promoting live tango music in another spectacular evening of Tango Meets Jazz at the Brisbane Jazz Club, 1 Annie St., Kangaroo Point.  Mendoza Tango Quartet with vocalist Solange Lipcin will play Tango music from the Golden Age. This is a listening and dancing event.  Dancers will be able to dance on the deck by the Brisbane River where the musicians and music can be enjoyed.  Book early to avoid disappointment.


Date: Thursday 15th April, 2021.
Time 6.30pm - 10.00pm.
Drinks and food available at the Club.
Street parking and car park available.

To book and receive members rate of $25.00 inside or $15.00 outside please follow these steps carefully.
Log onto
brisbanejazzclub.com.au.  Click on Gig Guide and find the Tango Meets Jazz poster.  Click on “buy tickets”, click on OK then scroll down to a red box with “Do you have a Promo Code?” Enter in the space provided, in capitals, no spaces, “TANGOQLD”. This will give you members prices.  You will need to choose a table for the number of people you are with because of Covid.  Table numbers are 1-5 people.  You will have to pay the total amount when you book.  Call the Brisbane Jazz Club on 07 33912006 or if you wish to make your booking over the phone during office hours Tuesday to Friday, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

When: Introductory class at 7.00pm, Dance from 7.30pm

We will operate under the Ausdance Industry Covid Safe Plan for "Recreational Structured Partner Dancing"

·         Food and drink service are still not allowed.  BYO drinks (including water).

·         We have arranged for a coffee / snack van to be at the hall at 9pm.  He’s going out of his way to help us, so your support will be appreciated

·         Register with the ‘Check in QLD’ app

·         Have the COVID safe app running while at the venue.

For lovers of Classic Tango music and Buenos Aires style tango dance. Everyone is welcome to come in to dance, watch or listen to great Tango.
