Sunshine Coast Tango Marathon Video - Milonga 1
I thought it would be nice to have some mementos of our fabulous Tango Marathon Weekend. So, here is the first video from the first Milonga on the Friday night. It is a summary of the evening with one song suggested by the DJs. I will release a new video each week. And I would like to thank our Videographer Adrian so much for all the work he has put into these videos. Considering he is not a tango dancer, I think he has done a great job.

Ces’t Bon Milonga
The Moonlight Tango C'est Bon Milonga is ON this Sunday evening for those lucky enough to have a ticket. Wine tasting from 5pm, dinner 6-8pm and dancing from 6-10pm. Delightful mix of digital and vinyl music.

Thursday 12th August is Tango Meets Jazz at the Brisbane Jazz Club, 1 Annie St., Kangaroo Point. Doors open at 6.30pm; show, 7.30pm - 10.00pm. Food and drinks available. Dancing on the deck by the beautiful Brisbane River.

Diez Cuerdas (Ten Strings) is a Brisbane based Tango Duo with Violinist Liz Young (Mendoza Tango Quartet) and Guitarist Rory Dollard (Cigany Weaver). The intricate interplay between the two combines to echo the lively, passionate sounds of the traditional Tango orchestra. They will be joined for this performance by Solange Lipcin (Mendoza Tango Quartet) on vocals and Lochlan Morrissey (La Vuelta) on Bandoneon. Together the four are delighted to bring you some of your favourite Golden age and Piazzolla tangos. You may be moved to tears, smiles, toe-tapping and restrictions permitting perhaps even a twirl around the dance floor. Don't miss this intimate evening of tangos!
