Afternoon Tango at the Sailing Club

Afternoon Tango is on at South Brisbane Sailing Club … Tuesdays 3.30pm until 7pm

We’re going to try to build on the wonderful, friendly and casual atmosphere that somehow permeates Tuesday Afternoon Tango by encouraging some of Brisbane tango’s most experienced dancers to guide us a little into improving our dancing skills without fuss or bother.

So, Afternoon Tango will commence at the South Brisbane Sailing Club at 3:30pm. The first half you’ll be able to practice or pickup pointers … or just dance. But the main point is to have fun as always.

If you can make the earlier start, it will help us tailor this extra feature more quickly to suit us all.

Guided Tango Practica

Co-hosted by Rio Rhythmics and Tango Eternal

When: 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month

Time: 4pm to 6:30pm
Where: Rio Rhythmics // Studio 1, 163 Boundary St, West End.
Entry: $10.00

Everyone is welcome.
While we encourage you to bring along a practice partner, it's not essential.

Alma de Tango Practicalonga
When: 6.00 – 9.30pm
Where: 45 Balaclava St, Woolloongabba
Entry: $10.00 - card payment (contactless, transaction fee applies), cash, bank transfer
Preferred to bring your own dance partner but it is not essential. Everyone is welcome.
BYO drink and food.

Practilonga including an hour solo practice with Jason and Shirley for both Leader and Follower with some tips.

With a deep appreciation for the richness and diversity of the tango tradition, he is honoured to share his musical selections with fellow tangueros and tangueras. Join us for an evening of elegant tandas and timeless melodies.
