dear Insiders,
I have felt a bright and bouncy sense of kinship and yes, pride, in our LA community this past month! twas amazing-inspiring to see so many LA dancers at SFTX and Chicago Tango Week!
one thing Tango does naturally is that it brings travel into our lives as we start getting real curious about how the dance is done in neighboring communities. the more we do pursue it, the more places it takes us - externally and internally!
but there is always a particularly meaningful tie with your home community
tango is, first and foremost, a local neighborhoody activity
and I'm excited about what we are creating together here in the City of Angels!
so many dancers noticed LA spirit at these festivals!
and it's clear we'll be enjoying more curious visitors to our home milongas :)
your support meant so much when Stefan and I danced on Sunday night in Chicago. this was a challenging performance for us to prepare for, and the whooping solidarity from you guys was bouyant!!
I am excited about how our shared purpose will take form in the coming oxygen marathon next saturday july 18th. news and updates on this very shortly, already we have planted an entire milonga's-worth of trees!!!
