Hey everyone!!
Tango Kabloom is off to an amazing start!
We introduced 42 people to Tango tonight! More than half of these were your friends, who found out about Kabloom through YOUR Mission Kabloom Kontest efforts. NICE!! THANKS everyone for spreading the word -- please let us know how your friends who tried their first Tango class liked it!!
We even had to turn 10 people away! Yikes!
So, please do tell your friends to come 15-20 minutes early if they want to make sure they get in! We don't want to have to turn away any of your people.
Please be sure to tell your friends to mention your name if you want credit for their presence in the Kontest. :)
We have 6 more classes to go before we crown the Kabloom Winner and award them their prize at the next Thursday's party-practica. This prize is already hotly contested, and yet there still lots of time to win! If you need some inspiration, here are some creative things people have been doing so far to convince their friends to do what's best for them and the world and try some tango:
1. Ask them nicely
2. Bribery
3. Ask your favorite coffee shop priprietor to tell her customers
4. Sidewalk. Chalk.
5. A tattoo that says "Tango Kabloom!" (Just kidding, nobody has tried this) (That I know of)
6. Just take them by the hand and bring them here
7. Use your Facebook whatever to alert them to the ka-blooming (if you can figure out the new home page)
8. "Lose" a Kabloom flyer in the presence of someone you think would be fun to Tango with
9. Remind them that everyone Tangos eventually
10. Demonstrate the Tango at your local farmers' market!
11. Rig a sign that says "Tango" to your van, add some balloons, etc...
Special thankyous to dancers Eve, Amy and Solomon who helped with welcoming new people to Tango tonight.
