may tango courses start next week!

Hey everyone!

Stefan and I are in Portland, OR surrounded by Tango inspirations and we are looking forward to coming back and sharing this with you.

In the meantime we hear the hive is humming and already I am inspired by the creative Tango karma-inducing stuff going on in our barrio: post-practica stretch parties, dinner-party-practicas, new DJs taking initiative. BEE the Tango!

Registration is in full swing for the following 5-week courses starting next week.

• Followers expressiveness: starting Monday, May 11th at 7:30. A womens'-only environment where we will work on technique, musicality, leading, and quality of movement. http://www.tangomarvista.org/followers.html
  

• Salon Style 101: starting Wednesday, May 13th at 9pm. A introduction to salon style dancing for those with a foundation in milonguero style. http://www.tangomarvista.org/salon.html
  

• Tango 102: starting Monday, May 11th at 9pm OR Tuesday, May 12th at 7:30pm. Combining and refining the five basic elements of Tango. Prerequisite: Tango 101 or instructor's permission. http://www.tangomarvista.org/intermediate.html

Tomorrow, Emmet is DJing at Tango Mar Vista for the first time!! 9pm-12, $7! Hosted by Vita.

Tomorrow, Varo is teaching the Drop-In Beginners' Class! Varo's classes are happy, fun, concise, and full of positive varo-energy, and this is the last chance to study with him at TMV this month! $10.
