Oxygen Marathon: progress, deadlines, news!

hey there Insiders!
a groundswell of great green energy and excitement are leading up to the Oxygen Tango Marathon Weekend which involves almost 20 hours of dancing in one weekend!!
and, we need you to make your mark on it...today!
first, let me summarize the unforgetttable weekend in store:
to raise $1200 to plant 1200 trees with plant-a-billion
so far, we have a modest but good start. 390 trees pledged to go into the ground already through the shared efforts of the Tango community. let's all double this by the end of the week!
here's what you can do right now:
then tomorrow, send 3-5 emails to friends, coworkers, and family asking for their support to round up your $25!
and of course tell your connected dancer friends to do the same!
we have a panel of amazing dancers co-creating the marathon, you can get involved:

- DJ jacob eggers spins Tangos at Caltech friday night 9:30-3am
- DJ lampis does the early shift and DJ sabah does the late shift for the Oxygen Marathon!!
- Oliver and Silvina are teaching pre-milonga classes both nights at 8pm!!
- DJ j abling wraps things up on sunday night 6-9, hosted by varo

- Dirk is director of foodstuffs and snacks. To get on his crew, email him
- Celine is organizing the welcome table and door-shifts. To get a chance to rest your tired feet during the marathon and help count-up tree donations, email her
- Barbara is the housing fairy. She's matching up visiting dancers from out of town with local lovely hosts. Do you have a spot where a gypsy Tango dancer could crash? Email her!
- Stefan, along with Alice and Jen, are making the space. So email him if you want to get involved on this crew
