Hi!!
Hope you're all enjoying the weather!
IMPORTANT!!: no class Monday June 22nd
In the recent weeks for our Tango+ classes we covered musicality and
volcadas,
This Monday we will work on 'Milonga', the different technique in step
as well as some more common sequences to play with.
First explanation; there is the umbrella term 'Argentine Tango', for
the dance, under that there are three types of music we dance to,
Milonga, Tango, and Vals (waltz). Even though the same technique is
practiced for each type of music, the way we dance to each type is
different. Also Milonga is a term for a tango gathering/dance.
In Tango II we will continue to develop our open and close embrace
skills, this coming Monday we'll work more with 'change of direction'
and dancing in close embrace.
Thanks and I'll see you turnin'
~Ariel
