Dear Friends,
This Saturday will be the biggest event of the year at Thuy's milonga. Thuy and I feel very excited and grateful to see our dancing friends from different towns join us here in Gainesville to soak up the experiences of fun and delicate beauty--the experiences that are made possible through the "language" of Argentine Tango as a social dance!
This is the 3rd yearly visit of these masterful teachers of the "body intelligence" perspective--Jorge Mendoza and Anabel Martinez are the catalysts for deep change--from our perspective, history is being written every day in people's bodies.
The word is spreading of how magical their teaching is--this year the couple is expanding its presence in the Tampa/St Petersburg area, where 3 different organizers are putting on workshops for them during the first week of May

SATURDAY'S PRE-MILONGA LESSON:
Learning a traditional and classical tango step -- The "Mordida"
-the Importance of the impulse from the Leader.
- How to connect with other steps.
MILONGA:
-A very special of the "cozy and elegant milonga!" ("Monthly Milonga @Thuy's! # 57") featuring our guest teachers from Buenos Aires.
-Attendance is free as usual. Bring your favorite dish and/or beverage, to share!
SUNDAY WORKSHOP 1:
Rebounds in simple and double time.
- Our axes as a fixed and movable reference line.
- Change of fronts and lines in dance room
SUNDAY WORKSHOP 2:
Milonga con traspié
- How to lean on a rhythmic pattern.
- Triggers to get cadence and style of the step
