Dear local dancing friends,

Quite a few of you remember the event Thuy's Milonga organized here in Gainesville this June. It turned out for us like a dream weekend-and others from out of town and out of state had this same experience-they keep telling us how they remember it with deep FONDNESS . . .

If we dare say it, we did something noteworthy to help put Gainesville on the map in the world of social dancing--"social dancing" in the best sense of the term:

"Tango is its own international ‘subculture,’ where we dance to discover ourselves and the musicality inherent in our bodies, have a musical conversation with our partner as we listen and receive the meaning of the music, improvising IN THE MOMENT.  Don’t say, ”I can never do that”-instead, satisfy the curiosity you may have and discover that actually, it IS accessible (things turn out less complicated than expected). If yes, then mark your calendar . . . "

This deep caring about tango we already share with each other-those who are on this email list! So now we ask you to help with building the 'magnetism' of the Gainesville dancing community:

1. Share the information about this event with all your dancing connections

2. If you have a facebook account (I realize that some of you don't use facebook much, and I don't blame you!)-please do a simple thing for us, and go to the link below to indicate you're "interested" or "going."

Thuy and I decided to do it again-but even better, if possible (stay tuned to find out what this means). We are taking an even bigger risk, putting our hearts and resources on the line. . . (this is a labor of love-not of money profit)
