Dear authors,

I´ve compiled the python interface of algencan successfully. However,
trying to import pyrwapper I´ve got the following error:

ImportError: dlopen(./pywrapper.so, 2): Symbol not found: _MAIN__
Referenced from: /Users/volker/pywrapper.so
Expected in: flat namespace
in /Users/volker/pywrapper.so

What´s wrong?

Thanks
Volker

Dear Volker, many thanks for your interest in Algencan. Please, give us a few days the check the error you are reporting on a Mac environment. We hope we will be able to return to you very soon. Regards, Ernesto.

Hi Ernesto,

did you already reconstruct my error? And do you already found a
workaround, although it won´t be an acceptable solution for a new
release?

Regards,
Volker

Hi Volker,
could you give us more details regarding this problem?
We would appreciate knowing the versions of your GCC, GFortran and Python.
Also, please, send me the output of the following commands:
file /Users/volker/pywrapper.so
file `which python`
Did you change anything in the Makefile in order to compile the interface?

Thanks,

Ricardo
