NEWS !!

Valentine Day celebration on Saturday 14 February at Dance Junxion.
ALL proceeds will go towards purchasing a portable dance floor that
can be used in parks and elsewhere . Dance Junxion will be providing
the venue free of charge and Lee and Andy will organise the rest
(volunteers welcome).


Tuesday Dance Junxion Classes and milonga is starting this week .
Lesson with Danni and Ralph at 19:30 followed by The Dance Junxion
milonga at 20:30 where we have a feast of entertainment lined up.

Stanislav is travelling to Johannesburg to take ownership of his new
accordion. He will be joining us tonight to delight us with live
tango music (his remuneration will be your applause and drinks)

Roger and Mirta will be will be demonstrating the Zamba (spelled
samba) – an Argentinean folk dance expressing courtship and love

again the Chacarera (The Farm Girl) another Argentinean Folk Dance
Joining us from Argentina is Tete (an accomplished ballet and tango
dancer – see attachment) and Hebe (a classic and tango concert
violinist). Perhaps we can inspire them to perform for us.

Milonga on the Move will move in its new place this Sunday 25 Jan at
Genesis , an electric , exciting new place in Fairmount. Thank you Lee
and Andy

Dance Club DORSEY’S in Northcliff, Graymont will be starting a monthly
milonga evening on Fridays . First milonga 23/01/09. Further details
bellow.

Bert Frahm assisted by Brigitte recently back from Buenos Aires will
be starting dedicated closed group lessons. For details touch@tango-
