Tango Workshop weekend with Ariel and Daniela from Argentina

Total Tango Immersion Weekend
The weekend of the 5th and 6th of June, Ariel Roldan and Daniela
Mardones will be teaching at the first ever Tango Festival in
Johannesburg. Two days of instruction and two milongas.
On Saturday evening there is a BLT (Ballroom, Latin, Tango) milonga
hosted by Bert & Brigitte. On Sunday, after the classes we will end
with a milonga hosted by Milonga on the Move at Cantare, Montecasino.
Ariel will provide the music in professional Argentine DJ style.
Milongas are priced separately.
The weekend is structured with separate classes for beginners,
intermediate and advanced dancers. Advanced dancers are invited to
attend the beginner and intermediate classes. No partners are required
as some of the advanced dancers will be helping out in the beginner
and intermediate classes. On Saturday join the class which you think
is the most appropriate for you. Ariel will then advise which class
will be the most beneficial for you on the Sunday.
Each day starts at 09:00 with a 90min class for the beginners until
10:30. Suitable for dancers with a little experience, or none at all.
Intermediate 2 hour class from 10:30 to 12:30 on Saturday, and 11:00
to 13:00 on Sunday. For the first hour the beginners observe the
class.
Advanced 2.5 hour class from 13:00 to 15:30 on Saturday and 14:00 to
16:30 on Sunday. For the first hour the intermediates are invited to
observe the class.
The first day’s focus will be tango, and on the Sunday will focus on
milonga.
Prices for classes
Beginners – R300 both days, R200 one day only
Intermediate - R500 both days, 350 one day only
Advanced – R900 both days, 500 one day only
