Tangle seems abandoned for the most part. I found knockout.js[1] to be a
useful implementation of the idea (also had better performance in my
testing due to only recomputing necessary values on demand rather than
all values on any change).

I remember looking at Tangle a few years ago, and thinking how interesting it looked ..

I just started looking for something similar, and found Ractive.js (see http://www.ractivejs.org/) . Hmm .. seem to be many similar ideas ..

It'd be interest to see a React rendition. Have you heard of any updates/changes?
