tangle to control the number of items to be displayed?

Hi,

I was imagining a list of items number of which will be controlled by the user selecting a value. For example, say I have a total of 100 blog article (references) to be displayed, but don't want to populate the list by all of them at once. So, initially only say 10 items are displayed and the user is given a choice to drag a number between 10 and 100, so that if he wishes, more articles will be displayed reactively.

My question is, has anyone tried this already? Is it possible at all with Tangle? Can anyone suggest me a code snippet for the same?
