I have the Music Maker app on my phone. I recently downloaded it to my pc. for some reason. I can't GET my account to sync up or whatever is required to have both. beenlongtime fan of your app. please help me
I am having the same issue. I do not even think I was given the option to SIGN IN with my email. It just appeared and then after I finally figured out how to make the app controls pop up, there was not even a logout option or really any helpful option for that matter. The phone app has an "export settings" option, it asks for your email. However, I go to check my email, No email. Now it says it uses it to transfer only the loops and samples used to make your beat, YET, I found that none of those were present nor was my beat. I contacted magix about 2 months ago, they apologized for the delayed response and HOPED I had rectified the situation by then, basically after a month of hearing nothing. THAT WAS ALL, pointed me to this FORUM with a link, I checked, ONCE AGAIN, SURPRISE SURPRISE, NOT A SNOWBALLS CHANCE THAT THERE WAS SOME SOLUTION! SO HERE WE ARE, CUSTOMERS of MAGIX paying for things that we cannot seem to get to work correctly, then not being able to contact a PERSON which actually collects a pay check from them, in order to resolve our issues. I think the last company that ran this way was ENRON and WORLDCOM. SO WE shall see what comes of this. The new a.i. answering services along with companies pushing the products made by contracted software engineers will be sifted through once other smaller more attentive companies enter the market and just HAMMER ones like this one.
As far as the original poster and question goes, please note that the Windows version of Music Maker Jam is very different from the Android and iOS ones. It doesn't feature the whole community/user system, let alone the virtual currency system to manage your purchases and account. It uses your Windows/Microsoft store account to manage your in-app purchases. So, it's a completely separate platform, and you wouldn't be able to sign in your JAM account from Android/iOS.
The project export option in the Android version is prompting you to enter your registered MAGIX e-mail address, not for the purpose of sending you an e-mail, but for the purpose of storing the e-mail address in the project file (to compare it to your registered address when importing the project into MAGIX Music Maker on the PC). The project gets store in a location on your Android device, which you also have to specify in this export process.
Finally, please note that Music Maker Jam hasn't been a MAGIX product in quite a while now. If you need to contact JAM (Just Add Music) for support, you can do it via the following e-mail address: sup...@justaddmusic.net. I can personally assure you that the support staff there is very helpful and attentive.
Can I buy a style in music maker jam(Android), compose music, buy a license for that style in music maker(Desktop) and use it commercially. I am little confused here because I want to compose music on my android device on Music maker jam(Android) not Music maker(Desktop) and then use it.
For e.g. If I buy a xyz style with unlimited license and download it on my PC. Will I be able to download same style on my android app and use it? Or is it applicable only to PC? Also, what is the difference between a soundpool and a style, are they different? Please confirm.
It does work the other way round - you buy and download the style into Music Maker Jam (MMMJAM) and then when you import the project from MMMJAM into Music Maker (MMM) the styles / soundpools are download into MMM.
For commercial use you need a Pro licence for all the soundpools used, then you can use that music under the terms of that licence. There is a good comparison chart of what is allowed with the different licence types here.
Especially since 2 of the songs I created have ad lips and vocals from one of the Mix Packs and since it's been a few years since I made the songs, I don't know for sure which Mix Packs ( if this is an issue). The other song is just a beat.
I've already read myself through a few threads in this forum and as it seems , there are issues with YouTube giving you copyright strikes even if you didn't do anything wrong . Does that still happen even if my channel is non-profit based ? And what to do if I get a strike claiming copyright for parts of the song?
I wanted to write something along the lines of : "I made this beat with the MAGIX Music Maker JAM app. The vocals/ad libs used in the song are not mine, but were implemented via MAGIX Music Maker Jam. This Video is for non-commerical use only . Copyright to the soundpools that were used to make this song belong to MAGIX. " .. to the video description.
The problem is, if some other uploader on YouTube used the same samples you used in your songs it's possible for this person to make a copyright claim against you. This would be fraudulent and you would dispute the claim by showing that you have the license to use the samples. But it looks like you have nothing to show to YouTube that it's a false claim. In the end this can put your channel in danger.
So the best way for you is to get the commercial license like @johnebaker already wrote. If you don't know what you need you could make a list of samples you used and ask the support at infos...@magix.net to help you to find the Soundpools to get a commercial license.
Hey all, first post here and total video editing noob. I have a 50 second long video properly edited, but I have tried 10s of different rendering options and not a single one will play on my Galaxy 8s+. I plan to post it to Instagram, so I have been emailing the video to myself every time to test it out, only to find it says the codec is not supported. I am on Vegas 15. Thank you
Which renderoptions have you used because rendering to Mp4 was for me never a problem. I render in Vegas pro 15 always for my android smartphone to one of these templates based on the framerate of the sources ( sometimes customized framerates)
