ARUSHA WAKSE! FOR TEENS & TWENTY

(Productivity, Life skills and Career development)

Pornography, unwanted pregnancy, drugs, gang involvement and suicide are a few of the challenges faced by this generation of teenagers. Today’s teens live in a word which challenges their self-esteems. The Media bombards them with ideas of a proper body type and weight, social expectations, music genre, video games, fashion and fads. This leads them to practice unhealthy acts such as risky sex, drugs, alcohol and crime. Parents often lack the tact, skill, time or interest to effectively help their teens during this period in their lives. This raises questions as to whom, how and what is going to be done to help prepare the teens to face these challenges?

A team of experts will collaborate to change the perceptions of teenagers for them to lead a meaningful life. To this we present to you our WAKSE Mentoring program (Winning Attitudes + Knowledge and Skills = Excellence.
