Welcome to the Google Groups page for the Tamworth Hackerspace-- Err, well, for the discussion of the creation of a Tamworth Hackerspace.

We'll use this group to organize get togethers, meetings and brain storming. Our end goal is to establish a more permanent group, eventually leading to a space, where gatherings can be held between us all. At the gatherings we can all:

- Have a chat about our projects,
- Bring in our portable projects,
- Collaborate on group projects,
- Brainstorm ideas,
- See other peoples projects - great for inspiration!

Amongst these later plans the idea would be for members who are willing to split the costs of buying some awesome gadgets and equipment for the benefit of members; e.g: 3D Printers, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines (such as mills, routers and lathes) and laser cutters for fabricating everything!

Please feel free to add content for discussion and comment because until we get something going it's really only a pipe dream.
