American Idol Tryouts in Bryan in June 26

Now that the most recent season of American Idol is over, I can share
the following press release with all of you that think you can sing.

Central Texas Idol auditions planned in Bryan

The City of Bryan and KYLE Fox 28 are teaming up this summer to give
local youth an opportunity to audition for the chance to compete on
the acclaimed reality television program American Idol.

Tryouts will be held June 26 at Rudder High School. Up to 30
contestants will be selected to go on to a competition in Killeen on
June 29, where one winner will be selected to audition before an
Executive Producer of Freemantle media, producers of American Idol.

Bryan City Secretary Mary Lynne Stratta and Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski
have been invited to serve as guest judges of the competition.

Official rules will be released after the Season 9 American Idol
Finale.
