Nice. As a first home-page effort, it was better than my own. I did
not listen to the music, as I was listening to MP3s at the time. Let
me give some constructive critisizm...
1. The background is neat, but it interferes with the text. This can
be solved by using tables to organize the content on the page.
2. You have a good use of animated gifs, but please do not use any
more. They are a neat and simple tool to get a web page moving, but
they can be overused (http://http.tamu.edu/~jkp2866/Clan13thMan/ as an
example of such). Keep it simple. The best web pages are those that
deliver content in a simple, elegant manner.
Other than that, I'd say maybe a navigation bar instead of actual
links would be a good idea, but you're on the right track. I don't
know if you used a page editor, but if you did not, and actually
learned and hacked out the code, I am glad for you. You may want to
download the HTML Library. It's a reference guide in the form of a
help book, and you can get it from tucows (http://www,tucows.com) for
free. This is a very useful tool and should be in every webmaster's
toolbox.
Have fun with it most of all.
