Subject: OGAPS Document Processing Submission System (DPSS) Update Complete
To: GRADAD...@listserv.tamu.edu

Graduate Advisors,

The Document Processing Submission System (DPSS) update has been completed and the system is now available for use. As noted previously, please encourage students to submit their petitions online via DPSS, and not on paper, from this time forward. While we will continue to accept paper petitions for a period of time, doing so creates a risk for data inconsistencies between DPSS and Compass.

In a few cases, students may experience problems submitting a petition through DPSS or encounter inconsistencies/errors in their record. Should that be the case, please have the student contact our office at ogapspr...@tamu.edu for guidance on how to proceed.

Documentation is available online for students who need guidance submitting through DPSS. To access the training materials, students should navigate to the Student Forms and Information section, then review the links under Degree Plan and Petition Information: http://ogs.tamu.edu/incoming-students/student-forms-and-information/

Thank you,

Laura
