I'm a developer here, but we are having trouble finding a developer for this role so I thought i'd reach out. It's a lot of fun, promise.

The backend is Python with the web aspect being in django. AWS infrastructure, so bonus if you can help me in dev ops land. We have angular front end folks, so you'll just be talking REST/MQTT for most things. We also have a Go or tornado thing coming up we'll probably need to do (haven't decided what we'll have time for). We like Go, but haven't implemented it yet. Apache Storm and Kafka would be neat, but we haven't gotten there yet... we're using a 3rd party datastore for real time data analytics since we are so busy at the moment... but it's turning into an impediment.

As far as the company, the hardware has been developed for a good number of IoT things we are trying to do and the software to manage / analyze it all is trying to catch up. The web aspect has been prototyped, but we're basically doing greenfield development for the official product... hence the senior(ish) request. You'll be architecting alot of the backend and making fundamental decisions. Lots of data and users.

We're working off 19 in clearwater right now, but looking for offices in downtown st pete for a sweet startup space. That is about 3 months out since there are so many IoT exhibitions coming up.

Contact me for more info. Marketing is marketing, but check out http://gooee.com... ... there are some fluffy marketing videos to get the jist of the goals.

Hopefully I'll make it out to the next meet. Cheers.

Lyle
