Drag and drop to website in Python/Django?

Hello guys, missing you all over there in Tampa!

I revisited my python-powered XLS->DXF wiring schematic generator... and I realized again that keeping it all command line is not going to help other people use it. I need to take it to the web!

This would be my first django project (or flask if it would be easier), hosted in pythonanywhere.com ;)

Should I learn this library: http://www.dropzonejs.com/

or is there something simpler available in modern browsers? Like HTML5 drag and drop? (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_draganddrop.asp)

Is there something more direct coming from the python community to handle drag and drop and file uploads?
