Deadlines and reminders

Just so I can sound like the grumpy old man of the group (and I'm going to refer to myself in the third person), here are some deadlines:

1. October 9th (TODAY!!!!!!!!!) Wait - not enough emphasis. TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You *must* be on the official spreadsheet at:

I'd say at this point, you should also be signed up with a driver, and an indication on whether you'll be staying in the hotel room or not. If you're not on the list, either request access to edit it from John Hummel ( john.c...@gmail.com ) or just email John Hummel which car you want to be in, and whether you'll be staying in the hotel.

Here's the grumpy old man part: IF YOU'RE NAME IS NOT ON THE SPREADSHEET WE'RE ASSUMING YOU'RE NOT GOING.

I know there are some people in this list who haven't signed up with their name, or perhaps you're the +1 of someone else, or maybe you're still not 100% sure. I'd say "If you think you're going, get on the list. I'd rather take your name off later and cancel a hotel room we don't need than try to get another one later."

If you think you're going, get on the list now. If you're not sure, get on it anyway - easier to cancel a hotel room or a rental car reservation than try to book another one.

2. October 20th: Next meeting and money due.

Right now, the only money we're requesting on October 20th is for the hotel. We have 3 rooms reserved that hold 5 people each at $109.81 each night per room. For two nights, that means 1 room is $220. So each person should give $50 to our treasurer Craig by November 20th. You can give it to him on person on the 20th, or send it to him via PayPal at: Boissea...@hotmail.com .

I tried putting my name to sign up and it wouldn't let me - guess I
don't have access! Also if you don't mind Id like to be put with

BTW: This now gives us 7 hotel stays, and 11 people going. There were
11 people at the meeting, so perhaps someone hasn't put their name
down on the list?

I'm still waiting to hear back from 1 or 2 people, and I think there
are others in the same boat. But based on other events I've done like
this (voter drives, etc) usually the people who wind up showing to the
first meeting is about it. But I'm not going to do anything about the
hotel rooms and such until the 16th after our next meeting - just in
case.
