9AM Friday Leave Tampa
1AM Saturday Arrive in DC (16 h)
9AM Wake up (8 h)
10AM Arrive at Mall (1 h)
get place, eat, small amount of sightseeing
12PM Rally start (2 h)
3PM Rally end (3 h)
more sightseeing, more food
9PM Leave DC (6 h)
1PM Sunday Arrive in Tampa (16 h)
Most of these times are obviously fudgable, but this is, I think, an ok
starting point. I need to be at Busch Gardens by 6:20PM Sunday. The
question of how everyone gets into the van also came up, i.e. meeting
locations?
If everyone else is good with that, I could do it (and it would be
that much cheaper!) - but we'd have to agree to drive in shifts so we
don't have people too tired to keep going.
Any other opinions? What about the people who don't need hotel stays -
will just 1 night work better than 2, or were you planning on hanging
around with friends/family for a bit longer?
