Hi Everyone,

Reminder for tonight's Potluck Photo Dinner. I've had some requests in recent times to discuss black and white photography and I wanted to wait until after Jennifer King did her presentation for the TBCC. After watching Jennifer's inspiring presentation and listening to the discussion and questions that followed I put together an outline for a session where we can dive deeper into a list of topics and techniques.

Camera settings and in-camera previsualization
Color to B/W conversion methods
General workflow and variables
Relationships and differences between denoise/sharpening/contrast/texture/clarity/dehaze
B/W processing techniques based on exposure and also based on color
Digital dodging and burning techniques

Oh no, I keep missing these pot-lucks, I only see reminders for the same day, but after it's done. Was it recorded? Anyone, feel free to text me if I'm not there, because I try to catch as much teaching as possible and I'm usually available.

I’m so sorry I missed it Jim, for some reason I never saw the invite probably because it was buried in the backlog of unread emails resulting from my vacation.

Jim, the B&W Pot Luck session was a wonderful learning experience full of simple fixes/hints for our flat images. All of us, namely the ones who missed the class, will want to access the recorded video to review repeatedly.
