TBCC - Volunteers needed for our October Education Night's Member Takeover

Hi Everyone:

Hi Everyone!  

PLEASE READ ENTIRE EMAIL

We discussed this program briefly at a couple of our Zoom Meetings. 

When? 

October Education Night - 10/23/2025 

What?  

Each member will speak about one subject or concept related to photography for 7-10 minutes only.  

How?  

Each member will create a slideshow (like our speakers do) and share the slides as they talk in real-time.  FYI - I use PowerPoint as this is what it was made for, but you can use Lightroom or any other app you are comfortable with.   You will need to be sure it is no more than 10 minutes long. 

Proposal due date?

Brief Proposals are needed by 7 PM,  Friday, October 10. I just need an idea of what you will be presenting, to be sure it fits and we don't have duplicates.

When I have all the proposals, I will set up a schedule so each person knows the order they will go.  You will each share your screen on Zoom and proceed with your presentation.  

You can do this!  

We had six presentations last year, and everyone did so well!  They all survived, so please give it a try! 

I have found that I get so much more out of these short presentations as they are, by necessity, short and to the point.

Hi Lynn, 

I have never done a power point presentation but I will give it a try this weekend and see if I can figure it out.  I will try to do a slide presentation on my travels but don’t know what expertise I can share that others don’t already know about.  

Can you add music to a power point presentation?
