Inthe future everything will work... RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help surplus (Vendor)(OP)15 Jun 05 12:53I'm not seeing all that you have on your screen, however I can add an XMobile station. What features would that give me at Version 9? The fields I'm not seeing are "Cell Phone Mapping", which led me to believe there was a table somewhere.... RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help NX01 (MIS)15 Jun 05 14:05GAH! I didn't see V9 in your post. You may be on EC500 v.1 V2 they implemented the Cell phone mapping.. In the future everything will work... RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help surplus (Vendor)(OP)15 Jun 05 14:08Emphasis on the "In the future everything will work" eh?
What does the XMobile feature give me in v1? Anything useable?
Thanks NX01 RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help NX01 (MIS)15 Jun 05 14:47My signature is my excuse for everything...In the future. If you can find a v1 EC500 Admin guide it may be the key. I could only find V2 and above on the Avaya Site. In the future everything will work... RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help nohuhu (TechnicalUser)16 Jun 05 13:36surplus,
xmobile in r9 can be not ec500 but dect integration used in european market. you u.s. guys are lucky having your native transtalk and everything, we europeans have to deal with dect and its kludgy implementation from avaya. :)
also it can be some another kind of off-pbx integration, something called sscan or like that. RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help surplus (Vendor)(OP)16 Jun 05 13:49The mystery is solved. Thanks a million dwalin and NX01. It was misleading to see that I could add an Xmobile station but couldn't find any way to map it to the cell phone. RE: XMOBILE Configuration Help ChicagoPBX (TechnicalUser)16 Jun 05 15:47I don't use XMobile anylonger. I have been using EC500. If you use change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping XXXX, you don't have to use the dummy extensions for XMobile.

This is a very strange one. The customer has been using xmobile stations associated with various users for some time now. The CM is a 5.2.1 with all of the latest (and of course final) patches installed. I received a work order about 2 users whose xmobile had suddenly stopped working. Looking at the configurations, they looked fine. Setup the same way as all the other "working " stations. I tried various options in the xmobile config (ars, add a 1, no 1, the PRI trunk group directly, rather than ars) all to no avail. COS and COR looked good and was the same as all of the "working" users. In troubleshooting some more, I discovered that none of the xmobile stations were actually ringing the cell phone. Using list trace, I never even see the PBX attempt to place the call. I did a save trans and a reset sys 4 last night, today, the same results. I am the one and only admin of the system and the list history entries confirm that no one has been in the system making any changes. I'm really stumped on this one and I was wondering if anyone else has faced this bizarre situation. I am confirming that EC500 is enabled using status station, of course. Toggling the feature on and off has no effect as well.
